"CHOSEN" is the urban youth outreach ministry at Victory Christian Center. Chosen is derived from the scripture in 1 Peter 2:9

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of the darkness into His marvelous light"

These youth are seeing that God has a plan for them and that He has called them to do greater things than what they are experiencing now.  He has called them out of the darkness of their neighborhoods and schools, and into His presence, so they can go back and affect their world.

Chosen's services are Spirit-Filled, exciting, and innovative.  Every message is relevant to issues that these youth are dealing with on a

daily basis such as right relationships, drugs, and even death.  We strive to reach the youth through creativity in our services. 

The youth of this "Chosen" generation are being trained to affect their homes, schools, and world through their relationship with Christ and the practical teaching of the Word of God.

We have many plans for this year.  We are looking forward to seeing what God has for these young people.
